Cute, funky, sassy and hot! Great stocking stuffer! December 6, 2007

I adore funky clothing and sassy accesories, and while I love these socks, I don't particularly like them with stilettos; the total effect appears more silly than funky.br /br /I haven't seen socks like this since singer/entertainer Cindy Lauper! My daughter Allie adored Cindy Lauper and mimicked her style of dress, even dressing up like her for Halloween one year. Can't you picture pink socks like this with pink, lacy high-top tennies? Totally funky ... and fun!br /br /In those days, these socks were a shocker to my more conservative nature until I got used to them, and then I thought they were cute and sassy. br /br /I also remember when they were worn by teens and tweens with white low-cut tennis shoes. Very cute ... Sure beats plain, boring white socks for certain occasions, but reserve the white socks for more conservative events.br /br /I may be in my second childhood for loving these socks so much, but I'm definitely getting a few pairs for Ashley's Christmas stocking! They will look much hotter (and/or cooler) with her lower heels than they are with these stilettos.br /br /I wish I could get by wearing them! (Perhaps around the house???) Very retro!

Why wear boring white ankle socks? For the same price, you can get these super sexy socks, and add more than a little sass to your summer outfits.br /Any pair of Keds will be jazzed up by some socks with bows. These wear well, and fit an adult foot (no small feat) and always elicit comments. You can, of course, save them for the bedroom, with your five inch heels (as shown in the photos here) but I recommend breaking them out in public and just being a little saucy for a change. The red bows obviously relate to Valentine's and Christmas, but don't forget red for 4th of July too!
