 Very Pretty Dress December 9, 2006

I ordered this dress for my daughter for a school Christmas formal. We ordered the green, although we thought every color was very nice. It was so nice to have such a variety of colors to choose from. Most dresses are very limited in colors (you're lucky if there are two to choose from). Then there's the limited size availability to deal with also. But this dress was available in every color and size. I ordered it directly from the company, because I thought it would be delivered quicker that way, and we were limited with time to get alterations, if needed. I ordered the dress on a Monday and received it on a Saturday. (We live in Pennsylvania) The color is a little lighter than it appears on the Amazon web site. But, it is very pretty, very rich looking. They also included straps to get sewn on, which I thought was very nice because my daughter is 15 and will feel more comfortable with the straps. The length is perfect, she is 5'7" and with her 2" heels the dress will probably not need shortened. (We ordered a size medium.) I do think the dress will need to be taken in slightly where the sash-like fabric is on the waist. I was disappointed however, that the customer service from Pacific Plex did not return three e-mails that I sent directly to them and they do not list a phone number to contact them. I know that this review is very lenghty, but I wanted to give as many details as possible in case you are as reluctant as I was to order a formal dress over the computer. I just feel better when you can actually see an item and try it on first. But, I have to admit I am very pleased thus far with our purchase. I hope this review will be helpful to someone who is debating whether or not to order this dress.

I just got it today and I'm pretty happy with it. Actually, I can't get over the fact that the dress didn't cost more than $100, it looks really good. The quality is excellent, not top of the line, but it's not cheap-looking at all either. I'll be wearing this as my wedding dress :-) br /br /I was paranoid that it wouldn't fit - I emailed someone at Pacificplex, with my measurements (Bust40,Waist35,Hips41) and asked their opinion. She recommended the XL and it fits very well! I'm really glad that I asked about the sizing, because I would've gotten something too big. So, I recommend asking someone at Pacificplex if you are unsure about what size to get. Just make sure you tell them your measurements of course. br /br /I do need to get it tailored though as it's just way too long, I usually have problems with clothes being too long anyway as I'm 5'2. I wish they had a petite size (unless there was one, but I didn't see it). The top part fits good, but I think I will get that part tailored to fit just a little bit better. br /br /The item shipped to NYC. Shipping was not a problem, I ordered on a Friday and I received the item today,on Wednesday. br / br /So, in conclusion, the only thing 'negative' from my purchase would be the length.br /Again, I recommend taking your own measurements and if not sure, it may help to ask the company.br /br /

I recieved the dress right after 3 days I placed my order. The material is good, color is as described. Over all, very great business! I will purchase with them again in the future! I bought same style like this one from Jesicca McClintock, cost almost $200, the material is better and I guess because it's from designer, but hey cares, as long as you look good in it, and you probably wear something like this only once or twice, so why spend too much $$ on it. I wish I found this dress earlier.

I actually ordered this dress directly from the PacificPLEX web site! I orderd it Tuesday and it was on my front step Thursday when I got home from work! What a great way to end the day. I thought it would look a little cheap...given the price. I was greatly satisfied with my selection. I orderd it in red and thought the color might be a little bright but, it was beautiful. a deeper color and the satin made it shine! I am going to use it for the Marine Corps ball it will be a great addition to my boyfriends uniform!! Great place to order dresses! I would use them again for any occasion.
